Well I thought that once in a while I would show a shot of my desk mid-project. For the most part I clean up completely in between projects but lately my time has been so limited that this had not always been the case. I love looking at other people's scrapbook rooms/ studios and finding out what tools/ supplies are popular so by showing my desk randomly you can see what I'm currently using. I have several tools on my desk and the corner chomper and the cloud punches are some of my favourites. I am also working with coffee filters to prepare for a demo I am doing during the Paperie retreat in a few weeks. Other things you will always find on my desk are ink and stamps as I stamp on almost every layout or card that I make. Also I am using 6 by 6 paper pads a lot these days and I find that I leave out the scraps as they are so colourful that they often end up on several projects. Ok I think its time to go clean up now!

hand stitched tags
well I made an attempt at some hand stitched tags (amy tangerine style) for the paperie's mojo monday challenge - not bad if I do say so ... love the look and I will definitely make more.

Washi Tape - my newest addiction
Just one example of the Washi Tape my LSS (the paperie) has in stock right now - tons of fun trying out all the new patterns on a card front - quick and easy ... can't wait to play more!
to post or not to post?
well not sure if this blog thing is going to be for me or not but here goes - we'll give it a try and see where it leads.... I will show pictures of projects I'm working on or daily musings and neat things I find when searching through blog land. I wanted to start using some of the supplies I have on hand and for me that's always a challenge - much easier to go buy something new than to make what you have work. In this case I wanted to add some bling but use the pastel coloured buttons so I used spray adhesive on my craft mat and then dipped in glitter using tweezers .... whole new way to look at buttons!
